Intel, Employer Brand

Intel’s employer brand was derived from the broader company brand. As such, it came with defined limitations and guidelines, specific fonts, colors, and layouts. In addition to these branding constraints, the main request was to introduce a human connection, moving away from a purely tech-driven look and feel and instead focusing on people and the sense of relatability.

Global Brand

The initial designs used images taken in the U.S., featuring local (Californian) actors.

For event and product design, the images were combined with Intel’s main brand color to create a stronger overall brand presence.

Local Market

After testing these designs in the local Israeli environment, it became clear that they did not resonate with the audience and failed to create the desired employer brand connection.

To solve this, we decided to conduct a local photoshoot.
“Killing two birds with one stone,” this photoshoot would not only take place in Israel but also feature real Intel employees and be shot within the company’s workspace — creating authenticity and reinforcing the “real people” branding approach.

My role in this project included:

  • Creating an image/photo guideline derived from the global brand look and feel, while aligning with the existing visual assets.

  • Scouting for locations that matched the brand and were unique to the local site.

  • Selecting a diverse group of employees to represent the wider workforce.

  • Training the photography vendor according to the visual guidelines and ensuring the right equipment was available.

  • On the day of the shoot: acting as producer and art director — making sure location, talent, and vendors were all in the right place at the right time, and properly framed.

Photoshoot images and design results:

Following the success in Israel, the concept was expanded to additional local markets around the globe. Using the same guidelines and production approach, further photoshoots were carried out in multiple locations, tailored to local audiences.

Testimonial Videos

To further enhance the “real people” approach, testimonial videos were produced. These showcased two employees from each region, highlighting a blend of daily work life, employee benefits, and personal lifestyle.

My role in these testimonial videos was to balance local needs with global requirements. I served as the brand lead, aligning scripts, locations, and featured employees with the Intel brand and spirit. I also trained and guided vendors across different regions.

Additional Designs

As part of the broader branding efforts across the organization, I worked on a variety of infographics and video explainers.

CSR 2030

This project focuses on the design of a digital campaign for a company's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, with a strong emphasis on visibility and engagement across social media platforms. The campaign was crafted to clearly communicate the company's values and impact, while presenting CSR efforts in a way that is accessible, visually compelling, and easy to share.

Rocket Lake Teaser Trailer

3D animation teaser trailer for the launch of Intel’s new chip: Rocket Lake

Background

Intel consistently innovates and pushes technology forward, particularly through its development of new chips and chipsets. These chips often feature names ending in “Lake”, followed by the core number. Each chip launch represents a significant step forward and is accompanied by comprehensive marketing efforts, including:

  • 3D renderings

  • Product pack shots

  • Informational materials

The Challenge

To update the visual identity of chip promotions while maintaining Intel’s core brand identity — and ensuring wide appeal.

Creative Solution

A new concept was introduced: to visually interpret the chip names in a literal and engaging manner. Examples include:

  • Ice Lake: Frosty design with ice cubes and glaciers

  • Tiger Lake: Featured a tiger in a strong, powerful pose

  • Rocket Lake: Depicted using a dynamic rocket concept

This approach modernized the visuals while staying within Intel’s branding guidelines.

The Design

For the Rocket Lake launch, a 3D animation was created to reflect the chip’s advanced, futuristic nature. The rocket was modeled and animated in Blender, becoming the visual centerpiece. Collaborating with Intel’s Seals team, we added titles and key promotional content during post-production — resulting in a sleek, engaging final product.
