Sa, Channel Identification

Sa (Go) is a concept design for an Israeli channel dedicated to motorsport. The branding and motion design are inspired by the world of car racing, with a strong emphasis on street racing culture.

Pitch

For many, driving is more than just getting from point A to point B—it's about the journey. It’s the thrill of the drive, the love of the road, and the experience found in every turn.
Sa (Go) is the ultimate destination for those who live for that feeling. The channel features original shows, news, and live coverage of motorsport events, offering everything a true driving enthusiast craves.

The Process

For this project, I began by developing the core branding and graphic elements. From there, I created an inventory of all the assets required for the full channel package. Based on this list, I storyboarded each video individually, determining whether it would be filmed or fully graphic-based.
Working in parallel, I scouted locations, vehicles, and participants for the filmed segments, while simultaneously developing the motion graphics elements. This was followed by three days of shooting, during which I acted as both producer and art director, collaborating closely with the photographer to capture all necessary footage.
The final stage involved editing, color grading, and compositing the filmed material—bringing everything together into a cohesive and dynamic channel identification package.

Animated Logo Lockups

The animated logo lockups bring different driving experiences to life within the logo. Elements representing everyday driving, racing, street mods, and more can be mixed and matched to suit the content of each show, either during or immediately after the logo animation.

Interludes

The interludes playfully embrace the old "car driver stigma," using sarcasm to highlight exactly what you might expect—with a tongue-in-cheek attitude that adds humor and personality.

Promos

Promos promote the channel’s live races by embracing its visual language. Using illustrations and design elements, they capture the energy and excitement of upcoming events.
